How can I possibly explain the love I felt towards a grown woman who was trying to tell her family a story but kept getting ignored for being petty
I watched her swallow her words
Then lower her head in shame
Her humility made me fall in love with mankind in ways I didn’t imagine possible

How so much vulnerability is contained within people
And my God, how beautiful it is

Turbid Waters
It certainly didn’t happen all at once
Growing up I wanted to love like this so very badly
Not romantic love but love for humanity, for creation
But like a sponge I absorbed too much of the world too soon
Before being equipped with the mental capacity to analyze and understand it all
And somewhere along the way this all happened
Turbid waters cleared
And I learned to forgive not only people
But circumstances I had no control over
And it’s a beautiful thing, it’s nice
It’s quite nice

I’m drifting out of consciousness but before I go
